An 83" wheel base CJ with a 4" lift 33" tires will have control issues on emergency stops. It won't be you that screws up rather the other driver cutting in front of you or doing some other foolish maneuver. As Gert said you need a CV (double cardan) joint. To install a CV joint the rear pinion must point at the output of the rear output on the transfer case to avoid vibration.
