Webi'm currently researching for a world i'm building, and i accidently set my world 1.5k years into the future (don't ask how i did that lmfao) and what i've read is that health and life span goes hand in hand. i've also read that the body just naturally declines as it ages. lots of what i read is that by 2050 we'd have gained about 3 to 5 years of average life expectancy.
