WebThe minimum age for volunteering in our clinical areas is 16, however we do not place under 18s within our children's or maternity wards. Travel expenses may be claimed within a maximum 20-mile radius of NUH for car users or for public transport when using the appropriate bus fare. Volunteers are encouraged to use public transport/park & ride. WebMembership is free to everyone. Children and young people under 15 can join but will need to have parental consent. People who live in Nottinghamshire and the surrounding authorities including Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire are all able to become members.
