Webbför 2 dagar sedan · I'm trying to restructure my data in a long format using pivot_longer in tidyverse. I have an ID column for each entry (row) but as I am creating a longer format new rows will be added and I want to create a new ID number for these that will be added to the existing ID column. Here is a simplified example: x <- c (25, 21 , 0 , 29 , 34 , 66 , 77) I would like all of the values over 30 to be recoded to 30, with the others copied. I realize this is a very simple question but I've been struggling to find an answer.
