The parable of the money managers
Webb21 aug. 2014 · If you’re unfamiliar with the parable, or can’t remember it all, you can find it in Matthew 25,14-30 and in a slightly different form in Luke 19,11-27. The gist of the story is that a rich man goes on a journey and leaves his servants to look after his money (Matthew uses the term “talents”, which was a unit of currency). However, the rich man soon finds out that he isn’t doing a good job and is in fact embezzling his money. So the rich man confronts the manager and tells him to leave! The manager begins to panic.
